3 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson (illness) remains in New York, and manager Aaron Boone said that he told him that his body is feeling better after receiving IV treatment Wednesday night. Donaldson still has a cough, but he's negative for COVID-19. It remains to be seen when he'll be activated. The 36-year-old also has a one-game suspension (he's appealing) for comments that he made to Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson last weekend. Marwin Gonzalez continues to get most of the starts at the hot corner in Donaldson's absence. Before landing on the injured list, Donaldson was hitting .238/.349/.415 with five home runs, 15 RBI and 17 runs scored in 130 at-bats over 37 games in his first season in the Bronx.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
