Christian Watson Should Have Big Role
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers second-round wide receiver Christian Watson might be a WR1 as a rookie as the team looks to replace Davante Adams, who was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason. Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb and Sammy Watkins have shown little indication that they can be quarterback Aaron Rodgers' top pass-catcher. Watson will need to gain chemistry with Rodgers quickly for the future Hall of Fame signal-caller to trust him on game days. "His combination of size and speed is great," offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said. "He's a big guy. He can move. He's going to be a problem once he figures things out." Watson will surely be an intriguing dynasty league selection this year, and he could make plenty of noise in redraft leagues as well.
