Daulton Varsho Remains Sidelined With Shoulder Soreness

He was initially in Saturday's lineup but was a late scratch. The 25-year-old left the game early on Friday with right shoulder soreness and remains day-to-day. Varsho is one of the top fantasy catchers in 2022, slashing .266/.337/.481 with a .818 OPS, eight home runs, 21 RBI, 24 runs scored, and three stolen bases in 178 plate appearances. Pavin Smith replaced him in the lineup and batted second on Saturday. Smith is worth picking up as a streamer after collecting a hit if five of his last six games.
