2 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Mike Minor (shoulder) will return to the team's starting rotation and will make his season debut on Friday against the Washington Nationals. Minor has been on the injured list all season so far after he dealt with a shoulder injury in spring training and suffered a setback when he started a minor league rehab assignment in April. The 34-year-old left-hander had a 6.11 ERA and 1.24 WHIP while walking two and striking out 21 in 17 2/3 innings over five starts with Double-A Chattanooga and Triple-A Louisville on his rehab assignment. Minor shouldn't have any restrictions placed on him in his first start, but he'll merely be a back-end rotation option in deeper leagues on a bad Reds team.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
