2 years agoThe Miami Marlins activated outfielder Avisail Garcia from the COVID-19 injured list on Sunday and placed pitcher Cody Poteet (elbow) on the 15-day injured list with a right elbow injury in a corresponding move. The Marlins also designated Joe Dunand for assignment. Garcia will return to the team after being put on the COVID injured list on Friday. The 30-year-old should return to the starting lineup on Sunday against Atlanta Braves left-hander Max Fried. Garcia hasn't been very useful to fantasy managers in his first year in Miami, as he's hitting just .207/.237/.290 with three home runs, 10 RBI, 11 runs scored and three stolen bases in 152 plate appearances over 38 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
