Antonio Senzatela Could Return Wednesday
2 years agoThe Colorado Rockies are hopeful that right-hander Antonio Senzatela (back) can return from the injured list to start on Wednesday against the Miami Marlins. Senzatela left his last start on May 16 with a back strain, but he completed four innings in a minor league rehab outing on Friday with Triple-A Albuquerque, allowing four earned runs on eight hits while walking one and striking out none. The results weren't great for the 27-year-old, but the Rockies may activate him anyway and return him to their rotation next week. Before his injury, he had a 4.55 ERA, a 1.89 WHIP, eight walks and 11 strikeouts in 29 2/3 innings over seven starts for the Rockies. Senzatela's low strikeout rate (3.3 per nine) makes him one to avoid in fantasy.
