2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals second baseman Nolan Gorman (back) remains out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the San Diego Padres. Gorman will miss his second straight game due to lower-back tightness. The 22-year-old prospect has been excellent in his first 31 major league at-bats, and he should be rostered in all fantasy formats. He's gone 12-for-31 with two home runs, seven RBI and nine runs scored to kick off his big-league career. Hopefully, he'll return to the Cardinals lineup this weekend. Brendan Donovan is at the keystone and is batting leadoff on Wednesday against Padres right-hander Yu Darvish. Donovan, a fellow rookie, has played very well in 29 games, but he's gone just 2-for-16 (.125) in the last seven days.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
