2 years agoBaltimore Orioles right-hander Grayson Rodriguez (lat), the third overall prospect in baseball per MLB Pipeline, left his start for Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday night with "right lat discomfort." It was initially believed to be a cramp in his back, but the 22-year-old is officially dealing with a lat injury and will probably need a stint on the injured list. Rodriguez, who had a 2.32 ERA and 0.89 WHIP with 76 strikeouts and 14 walks in 50 1/3 innings over 10 starts for Norfolk entering the day on Wednesday, is a good bet to make his major league debut for the O's at some point this season. He should be stashed already in dynasty, AL-only and some deep mixed leagues. Stay tuned for more information on how much time Rodriguez might miss.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
