Francisco Lindor Out With Finger Injury
2 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor (finger) is not in the starting lineup on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers after closing a door on his right hand and injuring a finger, according to skipper Buck Showalter. Luis Guillorme will get the start at shortstop instead and will bat third against Dodgers right-hander Tony Gonsolin. Lindor's fantasy managers will reluctantly have to remove him from their lineups. The 28-year-old hit .375 with 20 RBI and 11 runs scored in his last 10 games and has a season-long .261/.345/.442 slash line with eight home runs, 43 RBI, 37 runs scored and seven stolen bases in 52 games. It's unclear if this injury will keep Lindor out of the lineup beyond Thursday's game.
