2 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers placed catcher Omar Narvaez on the COVID-19 injured list Thursday. Alex Hall was selected from Class-A Wisconsin in a corresponding move. It's unclear if Narvaez tested positive for the virus or was a close contact. The 30-year-old was initially out of Thursday's lineup and will now face a short-term absence. He is slashing .274/.364/.415 with two home runs, 10 RBI, and 11 runs scored over 121 plate appearances in 2022. Victor Caratini will serve as the team's primary catcher while Narvaez is sidelined. Caratini is a speculative add in two-catcher formats after slashing .230/.324/.443 with four homers and 10 RBI across 21 games in 2022.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
