2 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds reinstated left-hander Mike Minor (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list on Friday and optioned outfielder TJ Friedl to Triple-A Louisville in a corresponding move. Minor will make his season debut on Friday against the Washington Nationals. The 34-year-old southpaw injured his shoulder in spring training and had a setback on his rehab assignment in April, so he has yet to pitch in the big leagues in 2022. In his five rehab starts in the minors, Minor had an ugly 6.11 ERA and 1.25 WHIP in 17 2/3 innings pitched. The good news for fantasy managers in deeper leagues that are considering picking Minor up is that he shouldn't face any innings restrictions in his first start of the year for the Reds.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
