2 years agoFree-agent left-hander Dallas Keuchel is receiving interest from multiple teams despite his 7.88 ERA in eight starts for the Chicago White Sox before he was released. The team that signs him will only be responsible for a minimum salary. The 34-year-old veteran still had a 6.21 FIP with 28 earned runs allowed on 49 hits while walking 20 and striking out 20 in 32 innings pitched. That's not the type of K:BB ratio you want to see from a big-league starter, and Keuchel also had just a 12.2% strikeout rate, which is the second-lowest of his career for a pitcher that only has an 18.2% strikeout rate in his 11-year career.
