Spencer Torkelson Sitting Out On Saturday
2 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman Spencer Torkelson is sitting out on Saturday vs. the New York Yankees. This looks to just be a routine day off for the rookie, who's slashing a solid .304/.360/.391 over his last seven games (23 at-bats) but has struggled overall this year. Torkelson is still hitting below the Mendoza Line with a subpar .199/.302/.322 batting line to go along with four home runs and 12 RBI across 146 at-bats for the season. Harold Castro will man first base and hit third against Yankee starter Luis Severino. There isn't much fantasy value to be had across the light-hitting Tigers lineup.
