2 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Eddie Rosario (eye) has been hitting in the cage and throwing. He was placed on the 10-day injured list in late April after undergoing a laser procedure to correct blurred vision and swelling in his right retina. The 30-year-old regained full sight in his right eye two weeks ago. There is no timetable for his return, but the latest news is a step in the right direction toward a rehab assignment once cleared. Rosario was off to an abysmal start in 2022 before the injury, slashing .068/.163/.091 across 49 plate appearances.
