2 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (wrist) has another CT scan on his left wrist scheduled for later this week, and if all goes well, he could resume swinging a bat shortly after that. Tatis took some lightly rolled grounders and made some relay throws on Monday. The 23-year-old All-Star is slowly ramping up his baseball activities as he recovers from a fractured wrist that he suffered while riding a motorcycle in the offseason. A best-case scenario could have Tatis making his 2022 season debut later this month. Tatis was an absolute beast in his third MLB season last year, hitting .282/.364/.611 with a .975 OPS, a league-leading 42 home runs, 97 RBI, 99 runs scored and 25 stolen bases in just 130 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
