2 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Tylor Megill (biceps) is on a flight to join the team in San Diego on Monday and is expected to be activated from the injured list for this weekend's series against the Los Angeles Angels. Megill will potentially start on Saturday against the Angels. The 26-year-old right-hander has been out almost a month with biceps tendonitis, but he struck out five hitters in 3 2/3 innings during a minor league rehab start on Sunday for Double-A Binghamton and is nearing a return to the Mets rotation. The Angels are slumping badly right now as an offense, but Megill will still be a pretty risky fantasy play in his first start back this weekend. Before his injury, he had a 4.41 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, 37 strikeouts and nine walks in 34 2/3 innings in seven starts in his second MLB season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
