2 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that fifth-round rookie running back Kyren Williams (foot) had surgery on the foot that he broke during practice last week. Williams is expected to return during training camp next month, but he'll be missing valuable repetitions at mandatory minicamp this week. The 21-year-old from Notre Dame is expected to serve as a change-of-pace option in the Rams backfield in his first year in the NFL behind Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson Jr. He's worth a look in rookie-only dynasty/keeper drafts this fall, but Williams is unlikely to have much redraft appeal in 2022 unless Akers and Henderson miss time with injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
