Tarik Skubal Starts Tuesday's Game Vs. Pittsburgh After All
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, Detroit Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal started Tuesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was initially a late scratch and would have his start pushed back to Wednesday due to inclement weather. The 25-year-old ended up making his start. Hopefully, fantasy managers left him in their starting lineups for season-long leagues after announcing that he would be skipped for Tuesday's game. Skubal has been terrific this season, posting a 2.15 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, and a 61:10 K: BB across 58 2/3 innings in 2022. The southpaw has allowed one run on three hits while striking out three across two innings thus far in Tuesday's contest.
