2 years agoThe San Francisco Giants reinstated first baseman/outfielder Darin Ruf from the bereavement list on Tuesday. He was away from the team last week following his father's death, but returned to the team on Tuesday. Jason Vosler optioned to Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move. Ruf isn't in the starting lineup but will be available off the bench. The 35-year-old is slashing .219/.346/.311 with three home runs, 17 RBI, and two stolen bases over 182 plate appearances in 2022. Ruf is mainly an option in deep-league formats now that he's returned to action.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
