2 years agoThe San Francisco Giants optioned catcher Joey Bart to Triple-A Sacramento after their game on Tuesday against the Colorado Rockies. Bart will head back to the farm to work on his swing after going 14-for-90 (.156) with four home runs, seven RBI, 12 runs scored and a stolen base in 36 games to begin his third season in the major leagues. Bart will eventually be back in San Francisco, but for now, Curt Casali will be the team's primary backstop. Austin Wynns, who the team acquired in a trade from the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday, will replace Bart on the active roster and back up Casali.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
