2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals left-hander Packy Naughton will serve as the opener on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Naughton made his second start of the season for St. Louis on May 30 against the San Diego Padres and allowed an earned run on two hits while walking none and striking out four in 2 1/3 innings. In his only other start this year, the southpaw allowed three earned runs in 3 1/3 innings on May 10 against the Baltimore Orioles. The 26-year-old hasn't gone more than four complete innings in any of his appearances in 2022, so he won't be a viable streaming option in fantasy. Overall, Naughton has a 3.09 ERA and 1.11 WHIP while walking one and striking out 12 in 11 2/3 innings this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
