2 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts (shoulder) is back at shortstop and is hitting cleanup on Wednesday night against Los Angeles Angels left-hander Reid Detmers. Bogaerts left the game early on Tuesday with left shoulder tightness, but the injury wasn't very serious and he'll be back in there a night later. The 29-year-old has done nothing but hit this year with a .320/.388/.481 slash line, an .869 OPS, six home runs, 26 RBI, 36 runs scored and two stolen bases in 206 at-bats. He's been just as good so far in June, going 7-for-22 (.318) with a homer, four RBI and six runs scored in six games.
