3 years agoToronto Blue Jays third baseman Matt Chapman went 1-for-3 with a walk on Wednesday afternoon as the Blue Jays lost the final game of their three-game series against the Kansas City Royals 8-4. Chapman, sporting just a .222 batting average and a .693 on-base percentage through the first eight weeks of the season, finishes the three-game set with the Royals 4-for-12 with a pair of RBI and doubles. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come for Chapman, who despite having solid power numbers, is struggling to get on base in 2022.--JasonHirsch
