2 years agoSan Diego Padres second base prospect Eguy Rosario had a career night for Triple-A El Paso on Wednesday. The 22-year-old went 4-for-5 with three runs, two home runs and six RBI in a victory against Triple-Albuquerque. Rosario is now hitting .241 with five home runs, 20 RBI and 10 stolen bases. Undersized at 5'9, Rosario makes his mark as a better contact hitter than power hitter, but has shown the ability to drive the ball all across the field and has also shown improved plate discipline as he has risen through the Padres system. Rosario is currently blocked at the big-league level and unlikely to make an impact in 2022. Without offering much power, he's just a name for dynasty managers to keep an eye on at the moment, but doesn't warrant being rostered.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
