2 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Sonny Gray (pectoral) is expected to throw an extended bullpen session on Friday. Gray has been out since late May with a right pectoral strain, but he's slowly working his way back. Depending on how his bullpen session goes on Friday, Gray will likely start facing hitters next week and could go on a minor league rehab assignment before he returns to Minnesota's starting rotation. The 32-year-old right-hander needs to be rostered in all fantasy leagues, as he was sporting an excellent 2.41 ERA and 0.98 WHIP with 39 strikeouts and only 10 walks in 33 2/3 innings over his seven starts before landing on the injured list.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
