2 years agoMiami Marlins pitcher Tanner Scott struck out two over a scoreless inning to earn the save during Thursday's 7-4 win over the Washington Nationals. He entered the ninth inning to protect a three-run lead. The 27-year-old has recorded two saves over his last four appearances. He owns a 4.43 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and 35 strikeouts over 22 1/3 innings in 2022. The southpaw has been terrific lately, racking up two wins, two saves, and eight strikeouts over his last four innings.
