2 years agoThe New England Patriots signed free-agent kicker Tristan Vizcaino to an undisclosed deal on Friday and released kicker Quinn Nordin in a corresponding move. Vizcaino will join the team after working out with the Patriots during minicamp practices this week. He'll replace Nordin as the backup to veteran Nick Folk, who was one of the best and most consistent fantasy kickers in 2021. Vizcaino, 25, played in six games with the Los Angeles Chargers last year and went 6-for-7 on his field-goal attempts and 10-for-15 on extra points. In his two NFL seasons, he's made 90% of his 10 field-goal tries and 12 of his 17 extra-point attempts in seven games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
