2 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani (ankle) is expected to make a minor league rehab start sometime this weekend, but manager Gabe Kapler has refused to speculate when he might rejoin the starting rotation. DeSclafani was 13-7 with a strong 3.17 ERA and two shutouts last year, but he was 0-1 with a 6.08 ERA in three starts in 2022 before going on the injured list. The 32-year-old right-hander can't come off the injured list until late June, but the team is hoping he'll be cleared after making two rehab starts. Despite his ugly numbers early this year, DeSclafani is worth holding in most fantasy formats with his return on the horizon.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
