2 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays officially recalled catcher Gabriel Moreno from the minors on Saturday and optioned catcher Zack Collins to Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding move. Moreno, the team's top prospect and the No. 4 overall prospect in baseball per MLB Pipeline, will make his major league debut on Saturday against Detroit Tigers right-hander Beau Brieske. The 22-year-old should at least split time behind the dish with Alejandro Kirk with Danny Jansen (hand) on the injured list, and he deserves to be picked up in fantasy leagues where he's available. Moreno was hitting a cool .324/.380/.404 with a homer, 23 RBI, 18 runs scored and three stolen bases in 36 games for Buffalo before his call-up. His above-average power stroke at the catcher position makes him attractive right away.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
