Eduardo Rodriguez To Make One More Rehab Start
2 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez (ribs) will most likely make one more rehab start. Tuesday's contest against the White Sox was viewed as a potential return for Rodriguez but manager A.J. Hinch told reporters that it will be a bullpen day instead. This would indicate that Rodriguez would get at least one more rehab start in Triple-A before returning to the team. The 29-year-old lefty has been on the shelf since May 22 with a left ribcage sprain. He posted a 1-3 record, 4.38 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 34:17 K/BB ratio over 39 innings (eight starts) before sustaining the injury.
