2 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez informed the team that he won't rejoin them at this time "due to personal matters," and he will be on the restricted list until further notice. Rodriguez is currently on the injured list with a strained left rib cage, and there is no timetable for his return to the team. The 29-year-old left-hander allowed two hits while walking none and striking out nine in four scoreless innings in his minor league rehab start for Triple-A Toledo, so he was nearing a return to Detroit's rotation, but now his fantasy managers will have to wait. Before his injury, he had gone 1-3 with a 4.38 ERA and 1.33 WHIP while striking out 34 and walking 17 in 39 innings over eight starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
