2 years agoToronto Blue Jays second baseman Santiago Espinal had another nice game at the plate in Monday's 11-1 rout of the Orioles, going 2-for-5 with two singles, three RBI, and two strikeouts. The 27-year-old has quietly put together a solid .290/.345/.443 slash line with five home runs and 31 RBI in a seemingly everyday role with the Blue Jays. He has played primarily second base but has seen a bit of time at third and shortstop as well. Espinal's performance, role within a strong offense, and potential fantasy multi-eligibility make him an intriguing option in deeper fantasy leagues. He is currently rostered in just 54 percent of leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
