Tommy Edman Resting In Game 1
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals middle infielder Tommy Edman will sit out of Game 1 of a doubleheader on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Edman has been great for fantasy managers this year with a .278/.355/.418 slash line with six home runs, 25 RBI, 49 runs scored and a league-high 15 stolen bases in 266 plate appearances over 61 games. Fantasy managers should expect him to return to the starting lineup for Game 2. Edmundo Sosa is starting at shortstop and will hit ninth in Game 1 against Pirates right-hander JT Brubaker. But it will be rookie Brendan Donovan, who is in right field and hitting leadoff, that will be the much more attractive DFS piece on Tuesday.
