Logan Thomas Up In The Air For Week 1
2 years agoWashington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas (knee) said he feels good with his recovery and is hoping to be back for Week 1, but he's taking things slowly and is going to "play it by ear." Thomas tore his ACL, MCL and meniscus last December and finished with just 18 catches for 196 yards and three touchdowns in six games in 2021. He had a career-high 72 receptions on 110 targets for 670 yards and six touchdowns in his first year in Washington in 2020, but he's played a full season in just two of his six years in the NFL and will be a low-end TE2 target with injury risk in fantasy drafts. If Thomas isn't ready to go to begin the regular season, John Bates will be Washington's top pass-catching tight end.
