J.P. Crawford Doubtful To Play Wednesday
2 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford (illness) was scratched from the starting lineup on Tuesday with flu-like symptoms, and manager Scott Servais said he's doubtful to play on Wednesday against the Minnesota Twins. Crawford should be considered day-to-day and could return to Seattle's lineup as early as Thursday against the Los Angeles Angels. The 27-year-old has been a must-start in fantasy in 2022, as he's slashing .297/.386/.434 with an .820 OPS, five home runs, 15 RBI, 28 runs scored and three stolen bases in 246 plate appearances over 58 games for the M's. Dylan Moore took over at shortstop for Crawford on Tuesday and is likely to do so again for the series finale against Minnesota.
