Commanders Won't Trade Terry McLaurin
2 years agoThe Washington Commanders don't have any intention of trading wide receiver Terry McLaurin, who is holding out of mandatory minicamp in search of a long-term contract extension. "We're not trading Terry...we're trying to get this done...We believe in who Terry is for us and what he can bring to the table," head coach Ron Rivera said. The team will fine McLaurin for missing mandatory practices, and it's believed that the two sides aren't exactly close to working something out. With receiver deals skyrocketing this offseason, the 26-year-old should be able to do well for himself on his next deal. McLaurin will be the unquestioned No. 1 pass-catcher for Washington after posting back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, but he's missing valuable repetitions with new quarterback Carson Wentz this offseason.
