2 years agoThe New England Patriots signed former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey to an undisclosed one-year deal on Wednesday, according to a source. Humphrey spent the last three years in New Orleans, hauling in 16 of his 24 targets for 295 yards and three touchdowns in 18 games (six starts). He'll strictly be serving as receiver depth for the Patriots behind DeVante Parker, Jakobi Meyers, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor, and he'll be competing with the likes of rookie Tyquan Thornton, Ty Montgomery, N'Keal Harry, Kristian Wilkerson and Tre Nixon for a spot on the active roster in training camp next month.
