Andrew Heaney Could Start Sunday Against Cleveland
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Andrew Heaney (shoulder) is traveling to join the team and is a candidate to start Sunday against the Cleveland Guardians. He allowed two hits while walking none and striking out five in 4 1/3 scoreless innings for Triple-A Oklahoma City in his second rehab start last Thursday. The 31-year-old could be on a pitch count in his first start back but appears ready to rejoin the rotation after being sidelined since April 17 with left shoulder discomfort. Fantasy managers should look to add Heaney in all league formats after the southpaw posted a 0.68 WHIP and 16:3 K: BB across 10 1/3 scoreless innings in 2022.
