Luis Severino Tests Negative For COVID
2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino, who was scratched from his start on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Rays after being placed on the COVID-19 injured list, has tested negative for the virus and will travel with the team to Toronto this weekend. It remains to be seen if the 28-year-old right-hander will be activated to pitch against the Blue Jays this weekend, but the main takeaway is that he should be back in the rotation soon for fantasy managers. Severino has been great in 11 starts this year, going 4-1 with a 2.80 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, 71 K's and 15 walks in 61 innings pitched. He has been a must-start every time he toes the rubber.
