J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards Have A Chance To Be Ready
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said it's too early to say whether running backs J.K. Dobbins (knee) and Gus Edwards (knee) and offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) will be ready on Day 1 of training camp next month. Harbaugh said they all have "a chance," but he's more "hopeful" for Week 1 of the regular season. Edwards has an easier path to be ready on time, since Dobbins is recovering from an ACL tear and LCL damage to his knee. Assuming both are at full health, Dobbins is the more attractive fantasy option as a risk/reward, low-end RB2. Edwards probably won't be drafted in standard-sized leagues, while former Falcons running back Mike Davis will only be an option if neither Dobbins nor Edwards are ready to go for Week 1.
