2 years agoColorado Rockies relief pitcher Ty Blach (wrist) has thrown a bullpen session and his wrist has responded well. Blach will throw a simulated game on Friday after originally sustaining the injury in a collision with the Padres' Jurickson Profar on June 10. The hope is that his next appearances will be at Triple-A Albuquerque on a minor league rehab assignment. The 31-year-old left-hander is eligible to return from the injured list on June 26, but it remains to be seen if he'll return by that date. Before going down with his wrist injury, Blach had allowed 23 earned runs on 38 hits while walking nine and striking out 17 with one save in 31 1/3 innings over 15 outings (one start) for the Rockies.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
