The decision was a mutual one between Brewers management and Cain, who knew his time in the majors was coming to an end. The former fantasy stud was having a rough go this season, with a .179/.231/.234 slash line and only one home run to go along with two steals. Fantasy managers who have been playing for over a few years will remember his prime years when he was a constant 30-steal guy who could reliably hit .300.
