Eloy Jimenez Nearing Rehab Assignment
2 years agoChicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa said that outfielder Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) "is getting ready to play games again." There's a chance that Jimenez resumes his minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday after his rehab was paused in early June due to "normal leg soreness." The White Sox were adamant that it wasn't a setback for the 25-year-old, rather just the normal progression given his injury. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect a quick rehab assignment, however, as Jimenez hasn't played in a big-league game since April 23. Adam Haseley, who had been playing well in the minors, might not have a regular role for long in Chicago with Jimenez getting closer to a return.
