Allen Lazard Should Be Aaron Rodgers' Go-To Receiver
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard is a good bet to lead the team in catches in 2022 now that Davante Adams is no longer with the team. Lazard has sturdy hands and has built plenty of trust with quarterback Aaron Rodgers over the last three seasons, leading Rodgers to express confidence this spring in Lazard becoming the Packers No. 1 receiver. The 26-year-old isn't much of a deep threat, but he has proven reliable in the short and intermediate passing game, which will give him plenty of chances on third downs and deep in the red zone. Rodgers has a tendency to make his top receivers much better, and it should be no different with Lazard this year. He probably still won't be flashy, but you could do much worse than him as your WR4 in fantasy.
