2 years agoKansas City Royals rookie shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. had the first multi-homer game of his young career on Tuesday in the 12-11 extra-inning win over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday. Witt went 3-for-5 with two homers, a double, two runs scored and four RBI in the contest. The two-homer performance ended a seven-game long-ball drought for the 22-year-old, and he's now hitting .270 (20-for-74) with four home runs, 12 RBI and 15 runs scored in 19 games in June. Overall, Witt has a .243/.288/.458 slash line with 10 home runs, 36 RBI, 38 runs scored and 10 stolen bases in 271 plate appearances. He's one of the most intriguing young power/speed prospects at a premium position in fantasy.
