Tim Anderson Gets The Day Off Wednesday
2 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Anderson will get a breather after just returning from the injured list. He went 4-for-10 with three runs scored in his first two games back for the White Sox. With Anderson sitting, Danny Mendick will play shortstop and hit leadoff on Wednesday against Blue Jays right-hander Ross Stripling. Mendick isn't a bad low-cost DFS sleeper in the leadoff spot on Wednesday. He's hitting .281/.337/.438 on the season with three home runs, 15 RBI and one stolen base in 105 plate appearances over 30 games for the Pale Hose.
