Jeff McNeil Remains Out Against Astros
2 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil (hamstring) remains out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Houston Astros. McNeil will miss his second straight game after leaving Monday's contest early with right hamstring tightness. But with an off day coming on Thursday, there's a chance that the 30-year-old gets back into the lineup on Friday. Luis Guillorme will get the start at the keystone again on Wednesday and will bat fifth against Astros right-hander Luis Garcia. Guillorme won't give fantasy managers much power, but he's hitting the ball well this year, batting .328 over 48 games. He's also gone 11-for-34 (.324) with a lone RBI in 10 games over the last two weeks.
