Jalen Guyton Shines On Special Teams
2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Jalen Guyton, who will be competing with Joshua Palmer for the third wideout spot this summer, shined on special teams during the team's offseason workouts. "Jalen Guyton was fantastic in the offseason," head coach Brandon Staley said. "This guy made a lot of big plays for us in the spring. Really did a nice job on special teams. We kind of challenged him to be a factor in the kicking game. I think he's looked really good out there." Using his size and speed to their advantage, the Chargers have been lining him up at gunner with the punt team. The 25-year-old had 31 catches for 448 yards and three touchdowns last year, but he'll need to win the No. 3 job over Palmer to be worth a late-round flier in deeper fantasy leagues.
