Ronald Acuna Jr., Austin Riley Resting Thursday
2 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. and third baseman Austin Riley are not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the San Francisco Giants. Adam Duvall is also getting a day of rest for the Braves in the matinee game. Acuna got a late start to the season due to injury, but he's still a must-start fantasy asset when he's on the field, and he's hitting .275/.367/.456 with an .823 OPS, seven home runs, 18 RBI, 26 runs scored and 12 stolen bases in 41 games. Riley has been an excellent source of power with 18 home runs, an .836 OPS, 41 RBI and 39 runs scored in 69 games for the Braves. Guillermo Heredia is in right field and is hitting eighth on Thursday against Giants left-hander Alex Wood. William Contreras will serve as the designated hitter and bat fifth, while Orlando Arcia will play third base and hit sixth.
