2 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (knee) is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Cleveland Guardians. It will be Buxton's second straight game on the bench as he manages a sore right knee that flared up after Tuesday's game. The Twins don't think the 28-year-old will land on the injured list, but with the oft-injured Buxton, fantasy managers should always be prepared for that possibility. He's hitting just .228 on the season, but he also has 19 home runs, 33 RBI and 38 runs scored in 51 games played, making him a must-start fantasy player when he's in the lineup. Nick Gordon is starting in center field again and is hitting ninth on Thursday against Guardians right-hander Zach Plesac. Gordon, who is hitting .261 with one homer in 142 at-bats, will be a low-upside DFS play.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
